About the Role
Fyllo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join Sparekassen Danmark's dynamic ML Platform team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing Sparekassen Danmark's Machine Learning (ML) platform, focusing on both backend and frontend development. You will work closely with data scientists and other engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable, robust, and user-friendly tools and services that accelerate ML model development, deployment, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Fullstack Development: Design, develop, and maintain both backend services (APIs, data pipelines, infrastructure) and frontend user interfaces for Sparekassen Danmark's ML platform.
- ML Platform Enhancement: Build and improve tools for experiment tracking, feature stores, model serving, monitoring, and data labeling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists to understand their needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions.
- Scalability and Performance: Ensure the ML platform is scalable, reliable, and performs efficiently under varying loads.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and contributing to code reviews.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation for platform components and services.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ML engineering, MLOps, and fullstack development, and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant portion focused on fullstack development and/or ML platforms.
- Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) for frontend development.
- Backend Technologies: Experience with designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SageMaker).
- MLOps Tools: Familiarity with MLOps tools and concepts (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Data Engineering: Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with stream processing technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
- Prior experience in AdTech or highly regulated industries.
- Contributions to open-source ML/MLOps projects.
- Experience with Data Visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).

Compensation Range: $160,000 - $190,000
